finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

february 21st 2014: what is this? labyrinth?

dropping off the car for things to be done. i was prepared to drop it off for a few days, but wasnt quite expecting it to take so long. the guy gives me an early estimate of wednesday. with a strong maybe to go along with that. oh well.

riding back with roberts wasnt bad. if conversation is kept to things of equal interest things seem to go along pretty well. for us, that seems to be comics and movies. he brought up plans to see the lego movie later. not a bad idea, but cant commit to that just yet...

passing work time with 'writings' and inventorying. an intense, and crowded, popeyes experience. taking a trip with austin to pick up something from his house. ive always thought we were kind of alike in some ways and seeing a few things about his house remind me of that.

eventually back to work. hanging around making conversation and fiddling around on a flying v. such a horrible design...and it felt so cheap. playing bass to mxpx and the summer set.

talking to derrick on the way home about what to do with the weekend. the movie for the night was changed from lego whatever in bury to robocop at the local theater. perhaps thatll be something to do. not as good as plan a though.

borderlands with madonna and queen in the background. id turned in a quest that was incomplete and finished one from the core storyline. i was hoping that wouldnt make too much of a gap between ol' james graves and i; it didnt. we both hit 71 within a reasonable stretch. a mess of comments leads to the band name, "the only the darkness."

that came to a close and i rush off to the movie theater. for some reason, they stopped selling tickets. maybe it was sold out. maye its just some policy. i dont know and didnt ask. i just accepted it and went home. im glad i didnt go too out of my way to get there. on a bike im there in just a couple minutes. though i did have to get dressed...

back home. catching up on tnt. its coming into its own thing very well, but that thing is fairly bland. i prefer the upbeat, party news. thats what i call it. because everybodys hanging out and talking about it, having a good time. now its just one dude at a desk spouting facts. i still watch, but its not great. just not bad enough to stop.

looking at wrestling stuff... the wwe network kicks off soon and im looking forward to that
