finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

march 6th, 2017: return of the interacials

i skipped the morning workout in favor of doing work stuff. and it seemed to..."work out." an hour or so later im all caught up and ready to move on with the day. to what? no idea.

apparently nothing. the day pretty much died down after that.

so today was something of a musical revival. it wasnt good. well, playing the old songs wasnt very good. there were a few instrumentals that were pretty all right. we really need to start recording stuff just for the sake of remembering some of these things.

march 5th, 2017: remorslemania

laundry. no gym because im just not feeling it today.

i had been meaning to do some studying and today that happened. that stuff actually sinks in and makes sense when given the right amount of attention.

fastlane. its really making me question the money i spent on wrestlemania tickets. and apparently im not alone.

the day was mostly a waste.

march 4th, 2017: the cinnamon bear chronicles

so, im not sure what ill be doing with my day. no shoe releases. no comic con sales. nothing planned in any way. i should study since i did buy stuff for that. but first im going to do a bit of cleaning up.

talking to my mom about those hot tamale licorice things. they remind me of the brach bears that i used to be all about. eating hot stuff and not whining about it was a big accomplishment for me.

a run to the gym for a decent leg and shoulder workout.

while watching the flash crossover thing, a nap snuck in out of nowhere. not unlike an rko. it's not too surprising since it wasnt interesting at all.

i must not be doing too great because sleep snuck up on me again a couple hours later. unfortunately this happen around 7 ish and went until around midnight.

eggs and a bagel. planet earth.

march 3rd, 2017: my neck...your back?

i got home fairly late last night and wanted to sleep in. unfortunately my body doesnt believe in that.

normally fridays start at the gym, but as a courtesy im doing an inspection thing instead. its a mutual understanding that its pretty much just to get someone out of work things and thats fine. at some point we get on the conversation of peggle and rock band and harvest moon. even with all that, the inspection was still completed. not too bad.

a long talk from some guy that has something to do with network things. i didnt quite get it, but it happened. and just kept happening.

the gym. its been awhile. back to work briefly and giving neu a rundown of my life before heading out.

in the comic con chat amanda is making a big fuss about buying badges for other people. i get both sides of it, but shes a fat bitch and i naturally want to be opposed to whatever she has to say.

pizza mill for dinner. logan for entertainment. what to say about that. it was a little different. im not sure if i liked it or what. and it seemed really long.

on the way back binh's going on about his shot symptoms
binh: its in three places...my neck...
me: your back?
something about the subtle delivery and obscurity of the joke made that funnier than it should have been.

stephanie started going off about what was likely to be an uninteresting story. turns out it was about her little trip to wal-mart about pizza ingredients. binh and i stopped her because we had heard that one before.

march 2nd, 2017: it all went wrong

starting the day with doing a little inspection. its not very focused and takes forever to get anywhere. but its fine because...well, its just fine. at least i did do something productive so now the day wont be completely shot regardless.

binhy boy and i were going to be off to el paso later and probably going to have to leave a little earlier than usual. thanks to a handful of super important things lined up that wont be a problem.

stopping by the post office to mail off things. i had things for myself that shouldve been in the box, but forgot about that. next time.

on the way home i get an email that the chili peppers has been moved to october. that sucks. and on a wednesday. that sucks even more. in some ways its a good thing i guess. i also got a phone call so they really made sure i knew about this. i guess phoenix is cursed.

the trip down to el paso was pretty smooth. everything after that was largely wrong. first we would the venue and 'explored' a bit of that area. it looked just awful. the school fenced in with barbed wire? we stopped at an odd little place called kees teriyaki and sushi. it wasnt bad, but not great. the prices were good. luckily for us, texas independence day didnt affect the hours.

our time estimates were thrown off somehow and we ended up at the venue super early. waiting in line for a little more than forever. then some lady took the people behind us to a short line. finally we get to the front and i have to run back to drop off my camera. great. the against me! part of the show was pretty good, but it seemed that nobody cared. and they didnt play 'because of the shame.'

stopping for food. it takes forever. pouring drinks into cups and just being slow to do things. we ended up missing a little of green day, but i knew thered be plenty of them to be seen later. and it was. so much.

we got back right at midnight. not too bad.
