finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

march 1st, 2017: no boost for you

i shouldve seen the writing on the wall. a half assed attempt at getting some triple black ultra boosts went all kinds of bad. but expectedly so.

to the gym for a bit. its air max month so i kicked that off with those fancy green air max 1s. those things are so nice. the look. the comfort. the price. one of the better purchases of 2016. and 2017.

rushing home to deal with the night cargo release. if id paid attention to their stupid names id not be worried about this. but i didnt. so i am. and it went much like the earlier attempt. just multiplied by 3. i got my first order in and got some site error. and then bank errors. that stock went so fast that it makes me question what happened... its like the greedy prestos. maybe i should add those to my stockx and goat. i do still want them..

work. i almost forgot completely about an inspection thing im supposed to be doing. luckily its for a section that doesnt have any problems so thats cool. it probably took longer to print things out than to do the actual thing.

it didnt feel like a very productive day, but i did get some good work done. and the band thing may be getting back on track. we'll see...

another chapter down for 1602. its an odd story. its making me want to read it, but not particularly interesting. strange.

looks like comic con registration will be next weekend. i feel like i should be more stressed. but im sure that will come around next friday.

february 28th, 2017: i dont have good news...

starting the day with a trip to el paso. thats always great. its about time i got that engine light checked out.

the wait wasnt too bad. it gave me some time to start marvel 1602 which is holding my interest. as soon as i left for a walk, i got the call. looks like i need a new catalytic converter. and some bolt. and it wont be cheap. but it needs to happen... im starting to think these phoenix trips are cursed. especially after what norman said about the chris rock show.

there wasnt anything else to do so it was back on the road.

at work briefly. then off to another appointment thanks to a last minute cancellation.

it took longer than it shouldve which sucked, but solidified me not going to some thing that i was already against attending. to the gym instead for a quick workout. modifying my 'off day' lineup to add in legs and back. gotta be ready for my va trip in april. and my birthday party.

im feeling a bit more worn out than usual. making it through smackdown isnt going to happen. queueing up stuff on the wrasslin network. for some reason its at wrestlemania 29 still because it doesnt think i watched the punk undertaker match. but its worth another viewing so whatever.

february 27th, 2017: making a living beating up people's children?

leg day at the gym. and only leg day. there was enough of that to fill the time and my back and still mostly screwed.

my afternoon got moved to morning so that threw things off just a little bit. and my morning thing got just skipped all together. brother love will always be a mystery to me...

a long thing about writing performance reports. its largely a waste of my time, but binhly was there so that made it bearable. it was hard to stay focused though so i found myself drifting in and out. like any other time in that kind of situation. an issue of admin accounts popped up and that had my attention. unfortunately this wasnt a time where i could deal with it.

home. nxt and raw. a small dinner of chili dogs and shells and cheese.

looks like my 4762 phone number has expired. i want to re-claim it, but do i really...

bed time. gotta go to el paso in the morning.

february 26th, 2017: putting the nap in naprosyn

i slept in a bit longer than i have in a long time. its just until about 7:30, but still.

laundry. gym. nap.
todays nap hit me with some crazy dreams. its what i imagine an acid trip would be like. my fingers were like part of a milkdrop plug in. theres a dated reference... and i was in a constant state of sleep paralysis. like i was trying to wake up constantly but just couldnt do it.

so i didnt get much done today. but the pain i expected hasnt been a problem. i guess the pills really dont let you down.

watching billiards and kickboxing. theres some david collett guy from virginia beach so i figured id root for him. then he lost. punk ass.

ive been working my way through some of my ipod music to make things heard. theres a lot on there that im surprised to see has been left untouched. the artwork album by the used in particular. that used to be my thing back in the qatar days. same with viva voce. in some ways i think i need to listen to more music, but i think its more a problem of just trying to spread it out. theres just so much.

february 25th, 2017: is that your girlfriend?

todays releases dont mean a whole lot to me. i put in some effort to try for the yeezy's, but it didnt work out. no surprise there. i guess i shouldve gone the multiple system/browser route. oh well.

working out the timeline for the day. it's going to be pretty busy so it needs a little more attention than usual. its mostly easy to figure out, but naturally people throw in some wildcards after its all set up.

first up is the rockin' jump. that was a pretty good time. i was pretty surprised i was able to land anything honestly. it had been so long...especially the cartwheel front flip. though i shouldve totally avoided that back bend. oh. my. god. the immediate pain and feeling of things shifting around.

stephanie made some attempts at doing some things and it was pretty much just a real life thelma. while bailing a few front flips some little 12ish year old girl asks if thats my girlfriend. almost like saying i could do better. and i answered her as such.

walking the mall. footaction dropped the ball on the low 12s, but binhy boy walked away with some of those huaraches that i got a week or two ago. footlocker came through for me though. it was a crazy line. apparently that was around the time a lot of people got their tax money back.

a little walk through the fountain stores while we wait on our dinner call. we ended up in 'charming charlies' and it wasnt great. and when we got back to the pf changs, there were so many open seats. we couldve sat anywhere pretty much. and probably for a while.

jimmy eat world was the end of the night. there were some pretty belligerent guys bringing down the vibe, but eventually they moved on and i had a pretty decent view. overall it was a good show.

and then a long and painful drive back home. the day started so early and had so much in it... but it was pretty good overall.
