finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

march 4th 2014: sigh of power

work started off with a bunch of hype and thats never great. it kind of simmered down, but then it was just down to 'urgent' or something kind of similar. i still found the time to send off a few waiver forms to sideshow though so it wasnt all bad. i did end up missing that special duty briefing thing so that wasnt great.

eventually the day was over and it was home to watch some house of cards and a bit of guilty as charged.

somewhere in the evening john kelly commented on my cat picture. while its very minimal, im surprised it still has any attention at all.

and in more important news, i found out that the jewish mother is closing. sure, i didnt have a million memories of that place, but i can respect its legacy (if you want to call it that). and it was nice for shows and they had a pretty solid bean burger. hopefully jew ma's comes back around one day.

march 3rd 2014: its christmas time in mildenhall

i had the bright idea of biking around to a few places to take care of things in the morning. well, thanks to hours of operations that didnt work out well. in the end though i did deal with my rent thing and that power of attorney stuff. so thats a plus. and got ready to mail things. all before 9.

my pedal came in as i was aware. however, bebop and a foot soldier showed up too. that was unexpected.

work was uneventful.

borderlands. walking dead. underwhelming as expected...

i spent a long time opening and setting up my tmnt classic figures. those shoulders are bad. hopefully i can get them loosened up without any damage. its a good thing i have an extra leonardo...

march 2nd 2014: CONCRETE! ah!...like a wrecking ball.

shopping again. this time with feeling.

i started house of cards since i hadnt planned on doing anything with my day, but stokes interrupted that. we ended up having a pretty solid session. a lot more fun this time for sure. he threw out an idea of being an offspring cover band. i thought hed thrown out the idea of being a band at all. he was even talking about doing shows. we'll see how this plays out...

we eventually come up with an idea of doing a bunch of top 40 covers and that was pretty entertaining. a lot of that can suck my white ass though...such awful sounds. hm, that would be a good band name.

the night ended with some random videos of beck, weezer, harvey danger, and other oldish things. they tried to rope me into an against me doc, but i had to stop that.

march 1st 2014: we gotta get out of here...

since i have a car this weekend i knock out my early morning shopping. i only bought enough for the day though.

back home i get an email about my pedal arriving. i attempted to pick it up, but processing mail takes time and i wont get it until monday.

at some point a nap happened

waking up and making a pizza. an email from entertainment earth puts me in the know of a 'how to train your dragon 2' and i thought about watching the first one. i got it all ready to go...after finding it...then decided on judgment day 2003 instead. im liking having this network access. its clunky and seems like it wasnt thought out well, but it has things that i like. and a lot of them.

while on the phone with my mom she brings up a show shes interested in. i mentioned that even if she doesnt have the cable channel it might still be available streaming online somewhere.

her: i know, i know...i saw that i could watch it on the hula. you didnt think i knew about that did you?

me: you kinda dont...because its hulu

i had decided to go up to norwich for a fight and that ended up being more fun than i expected. coolio fought some innocent bystander. two big dudes went all out. a black guy pretty much beat himself. and walker won. all in all it was a good night out.

february 28th 2014: what's up, chords?

while making my morning rounds i saw a pretty fancy skeletor cat picture to promote entertainment earths motu sale. i figured id pass that onto the facebooks to share with battle warner. eventually.

working out with mr. talent.

the work day started off with hip hopsicles. thats something i need to get. even if not for me. at some point, the j-man comes by with an unnecessarily long set list for the st patricks day thing. shooting down and pissing on that...

back at black team hq, england i post the cat picture and move on to playing my starred songs on spotify. that sparks a lot more guitar playing than ive done lately.

back to the internets at some point...people really do like cat pictures because that guy sure got a good bit of attention.

a bit of borderlands with james graves leads to some fun conversation. apparently he'll be beating off black dudes so he can become the pride of black people. and i need to make a comic about silly goose in the city boat.
