finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

march 2nd, 2017: it all went wrong

starting the day with doing a little inspection. its not very focused and takes forever to get anywhere. but its fine because...well, its just fine. at least i did do something productive so now the day wont be completely shot regardless.

binhy boy and i were going to be off to el paso later and probably going to have to leave a little earlier than usual. thanks to a handful of super important things lined up that wont be a problem.

stopping by the post office to mail off things. i had things for myself that shouldve been in the box, but forgot about that. next time.

on the way home i get an email that the chili peppers has been moved to october. that sucks. and on a wednesday. that sucks even more. in some ways its a good thing i guess. i also got a phone call so they really made sure i knew about this. i guess phoenix is cursed.

the trip down to el paso was pretty smooth. everything after that was largely wrong. first we would the venue and 'explored' a bit of that area. it looked just awful. the school fenced in with barbed wire? we stopped at an odd little place called kees teriyaki and sushi. it wasnt bad, but not great. the prices were good. luckily for us, texas independence day didnt affect the hours.

our time estimates were thrown off somehow and we ended up at the venue super early. waiting in line for a little more than forever. then some lady took the people behind us to a short line. finally we get to the front and i have to run back to drop off my camera. great. the against me! part of the show was pretty good, but it seemed that nobody cared. and they didnt play 'because of the shame.'

stopping for food. it takes forever. pouring drinks into cups and just being slow to do things. we ended up missing a little of green day, but i knew thered be plenty of them to be seen later. and it was. so much.

we got back right at midnight. not too bad.
