january 26th, 2017: ...with an m

the work day was going to be a busy one. two separate meetings. a bunch of stuff to do between them. but we'll see how it goes.

in processing new people. its not great because they keep talking about things i dont care to hear. and i want it to end. trip #1 to real comm. back to work to talk about the other side of things. well, i was more just in the room. trip #2 to real comm. a little business, a lot of talking. i actually lost track of time talking about road trips and england life. maybe i do miss that place... a small lunch break. trip #3 to real comm. apparently there was yet another failed test. whats going on over there is beyond me. talk #2 with the ice queen. 

killing time over with the other building folk. i should probably make that a more routine thing because its pretty all right over there.

in the end, things were even more involved than i expected. but at least the day went by quickly.

id been talking in the hangout about tech news today and how its not what it used to be. not even close actually. i watched it live today and it was pretty rough. house of cards. a short round of quake 1. i remember that game being so fun back in the old days. almost 20 years ago actually. wait. more actually. dang.

so it turns out there was a reservation sent my way for the take flight 8's. unfortunately there wasnt a notification to go along with it. but it probably wouldnt have mattered.
