finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

january 3rd, 2016: hoobastank. its always hoobastank.

i finally had enough of my computer being in the 'microwave room' and the pile of stuff in my room corner. today was going to be the day i dealt with that. and i did. not completely, but i got a good dent in it. theres a lot of space in the dining room area now. not sure what ill do to deal with that. maybe ill add a shelf with some figures or something.

starting up outcast. josh recommended it practically a year ago and a few times over the year as well. i was a little unsure of taking on a new series after how preacher went, but this was good. really good. and i think itll make a good choice for the book club next month.

taking some time to try out need for speed again. the online aspect makes it a little confusing. i just want the basic racing stuff from the playstation or playstation 2 days. i remember the first time i noticed the dualshock feature. high stakes? maybe most wanted? it blended the line of technology and magic. perhaps thats why im kinda attached to those games.

debating an order from hopeless for a bunch of cds. i like the idea of supporting people, but i also like the idea of not having a bunch of stuff. itd be nice to have the extra money around, sure, though what would i do with it?

watching limitless at the suggestion of martin. its actually pretty good. the idea was solid, the execution was fine. probably a handful of holes in the plot though. what's it really matter though? its just made for temporary entertainment and it did that just fine.
