ive been doing pretty well with keeping up with my blogging lately. eventually i should see about expanding my audience of one. this morning was a write-up on the texas showdown festival. 

to have a bit of background noise i was going to go with one of my looney tunes dvds, but caught the bare bears show. sucked in. and into a black hole i fell... i remember a post some time ago about the 'demise' of saturday morning cartoons. looks like it may have been greatly exaggerated.

i wanted today to be the day i finally start setting up my display shelf. after getting everything prepped i remembered there was some problem with the floor that would have to be fixed. so that will be postponed. on the bright side, i found those black and white 2009s i was looking for. now to track down acidstorm.

a well-deserved nap

a brief talk with mom. a couple peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. back to being productive. now that the bulk of the stuff in the music room is cleared out, i can make it look...better. i need to put getting a new futon frame higher on my priority list as well as a musicians chair. and a white board. and a white board holder. and cleaner.

my sunday evening call to the grandparents was thwarted. not thrilled about that. 

watched a louis ck video i got from a past humble bundle. its pretty good. i was thinking of buying his new album, but still not sure how i feel about listening to things like that. they seem better watched.

finishing 'red son.' it was really good. and the end really tied everything together. in a sense. 

lying around listening to al snow on the ross report. i was too distracted to take anything of value from it though. turning on some grace potter and off to sleep.
