march 12th 2014: the spectrum analysis
i woke up to an email about my finish line order being cancelled. it seems they didnt like something about my card. i missed out on these shoes before, but they had come back in stock over the weekend. luckily i was able to get my order in...again...with paypal this time.
today i received a couple packages. the new st. vincent, the deluxe edition of the dark knight returns, a claptrap, and a harley quinn. interesting enough, and somewhat expectedly enough, the joker was missing from this line up. the tracking number for him had never worked so i figured something like this would happen.
at work, jordan sent me an odd message out of nowhere. his wife is trying to setup her friend with some. most people would say this can end in a lot of ways. theyd be wrong. theres only one...and its not good.
after work i got home and saw that the internet was down. unfortunately this was going to take more that a reboot. i called bt and they needed my phone number to look up my account. since i dont have phone or a way to look it up online i was not going to be helped at all. apparently even if all you have is tv, you still need a phone line... eventually i found a bill lying around and it had all the info i needed. turns out theres a "problem" with the line and theyre going to get a technician on it.
that whole thing ate up more time than i wanted to. i had planned on going to gymnastics tonight, but wanted a bit of a nap first. i was able to pull that off and made it out to bury spectrum.
things went all right considering my lengthy break. i landed, not nailed, my first front tuck. back tucks were like a flash back to 2003... they got cleaned up eventually. and trampolines still get the best of me. but there were some cool people there and im thinking ill make it a weekly thing.
back in va, id asked chris to get with callwood about picking up my ratchet and clank for me. he sent me a skype message to let me know he came through. its nice to have friends sometimes. just enough and in the right places of course.
home.
still no internet.
