finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

october 23rd, 2017: gear up

its only the first day of the week and im already wanting it to be over. at least the day has a little twist and some new challengers have joined the party. that could be ok. itll be a couple days before one can truly tell.

there was something of a break mid-day to go do some other stuff. listening to anderson vent about things. lots of problems and sadly theyre understandable.

and eventually soccer time. its nearing the end and im going to miss it. chavez was likely to be out so i figured we would just break up and go against each other for the hour. and we did. it was a good time.

first day back at the gym. easing into it. things are heavy and i dont have my gloves.

my new seth rollins tanktop and gear 360 arrived today. getting that thing setup is a little tricky, but its cool. seeing those 360 videos is pretty all right.

falling asleep to brickelberry. how did maloy get so big? this will be re-watched later...

october 22st, 2017: i BEElieve thats upside down...

i made an early on executive decision that today would be an indoor day. how ill fill out the day is a mystery though...

turned out to be a lot of brickelberry and call of duty. neither of which are enjoyable.

robert posted his year-later blog entry today and it was about my arrival in virginia. i miss that life so much. i can a slight reminder last night in the form of an instagram video. my priorities have been awful lately. maybe its a matter of me trying to distract myself from things? who knows, but i want to fix it. or so i tell myself.

but its also a ppv day so thats cool. watching that and talking to d'nac about it. just two grumpy and jaded old men wanting things to be like the old days.

october 20th, 2017: the road to victory

so todays somewhat of a big day. theres a soccer game and ill be captain of that ship. but first is a little video call to talk about next weekends comic con stuff.

marcs leading this one i guess, but i have my reservations about that. his stake in the whole thing is pretty low so it doesnt make the most sense. and he seems to get worked up pretty easily so thats a thing...

and on to soccer. we took on the sandsharks. or golden nuggets. or minions. depends who you ask... they're that undefeated team. or should i say...were. crazy, but we ran circles around them and walked away with a 2-0 victory. the kids were really happy. all their hard work finally paid off. and even i was happy so that was a new feeling. perhaps a celebration is in order.

i never really got around to that victory meal for my fitness test thing so why not do that today. i rounded up armani and it was off to that place that used to be mizu's. and turned away because they have peppers hours. so applebee's with samantha as our host. it was a pretty good time.

back home for video games and baskets. not a bad day all in all.

october 19th, 2017: more blueberry than muffin

and so begins the end of my time in phoenix. it seems like a pretty nice place. not as nice as austin, but still very much worth being in. meeting maria briefly before being off on the open road...

stopping at a sams for gas, panera for breakfast, almost guitar center too. i was a few minutes early and didnt want to wait.

the drive back feels so much longer. and not having cruise control isnt helping. as i got closer the weather turned to garbage and got all stormy. it was in full effect when i got home so i exited the car barefoot.

i skipped getting food in the interest of saving money. that wasnt a good idea, but i knew that going into it. i figured my muffin would be a good stomach filler. nope. it was full of blueberries and i only want it to taste like blueberries.

on top of that it looks like theres much to be done in the morning.

this place is already being terrible and its only been a couple hours.

october 18th, 2017: jenna leke

with a little help from one half of team two cute, i went to pick up my rental for the next two days. the guy there happens to have a sister that goes to high school in summerville and is graduating this year because of the early college program thing. small world.

off to phoenix. its a long drive, but doesnt suck too much so thats cool. i found the arena pretty easily minus a bunch of traffic. its next to the university of phoenix stadium where i watched shawn michaels' last match. and the airbnb place was very close. walking distance even for someone not so walk-friendly. the food situation though...not great. or i was just too picky?

the chili peppers show was amazing. founding member jack irons opened and that was pretty cool. very different. just drums and some noise. waiting in the never-ending t-shirt line made me miss out on a bunch of trombone shorty, though what i saw was really good. and then the main thing. the chili peppers. definitely glad i went.

while i was meandering about waiting on stuff, i got word that the comic con sale is happening soon. terrible timing. hopefully our group approach works out well for us. we have a few that cant/wont be going it seems, but are still willing to help out so thats cool.
