finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

july 26th, 2017: im 84

once again i didnt set my alarm. i happened to wake up right before 6:30 which left me with maybe 10 minutes to go from bed to road. and i made it happen. unfortunately the late night caught up soon after so the gym time suffered immensely.

today was meals on wheels with brandon. its been a while but eventually we got into a good groove. it was a nice little break despite the heat...until the last house. that lady hit us with some depressing story of how her life is just sad now. i cant help but wonder if that'll happen to me.

works much easier going now. im a fan. i took a bit of time in the afternoon to venture out across the way and see how life's treating people. no changes. no surprises.

home. i contemplated going by wal-mart for some dinner then sold myself on a no. until i remembered the drain problem. and out i go.

wrestling. shoe videos.

my lemon huaraches came in which concluded my trilogy of unboxings for the week. it also rounded out my breathe collection. so thats cool. glad i kept those huarache breathes.

july 25th, 2017: sometimes you leave hastily

i fell asleep pretty early last night and woke up around 4:30. bursting with energy. like wonder man.

it's been awhile since i did a full days work and today isnt gonna be the day to break that cycle. so itll be the typical front loading the day and moving on in the afternoon.

got rid of shelton and helton. insecto and pascua made it back. it was quite the trip apparently.

at some point there was a chief chat. silly name, but whatever. i may need to have words with neu to secure my contentness. trying to work out medical things and getting nowhere.

el paso. picking up shoes from fedex. lunch at moo yah. a mall walk. gas. walmart. sams. cookies. tricky falls.

today was modern chemistry, every time i die, and taking back sunday. 2 3rds was fine...every time i die was not. wasnt good at all. (thats a litote i guess). and it was so hot. so, so hot.

july 18th, 2017: readiness? "needs improvement"

it was pretty nice to sleep in and actually sleep in. running off with chavez to turn in soccer stuff. its finally happening. oh, man. then stopping to have words with the neu guy. looks like the shift was permanent. pretty sure thats not a surprise to anybody. neither is the unhappiness.

laundry. nap. yoga. chilis.

i should really start packing. it never takes long, but i dont like doing it. moments into it and im distracted. there is the possibility of a wrasslin' signing and id like to take my nxt 2015 ticket to be signed. unfortunately i cant find it. i cant find my 2016 tickets either. i do have the 2017 ones so thats something, but id like to know where those others are.

july 17th, 2017: bruce t-roy

the morning to-do list is full, but not overwhelming. a quick meeting, some running around, and yet another trip out into the badlands.

home for lunch. making big things happen with fedex and the westin. then off to the gym. clearing out emails at work. and back home.

its feeling like a nap may be in my future. and before i know it, it is.

smackdown. talking to the hangout folks about mostly nothing. i kinda want to do a bruce leroy dress up thing, but the hat is hard to come by. i probably couldnt pull it off anyway.

july 16th, 2017: is that a turtle? (no. its a tortoise)

its sunday. so the first part of the day is already laid out. running. light workout. lunch. laundry. maybe a nap. well it all went about like that, but i did a bunch of work stuff instead of the laundry and nap. though the laundry still happened, just a bit later.

in betwixt that i did the video call thing with my comic-con friends. that was a nice little change to the day.

on the way home from laundry i found a turtle crossing the road. it seemed odd because i generally associate those with water. and that actually makes sense. because that was a tortoise. i moved it off the road so he could live a little longer.

talking briefly to the grandparents. they never have much to say, but i call them. making dinner. eating dinner. uploading comic-con photos.

there was a little chatter of civil war in the hangout so i figure ill watch that too.
