finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

april 13th, 2014: how do you like my muh-nah-kul

starting off the day with a handful of teenage mutant ninja turtles episodes. after it came up through benini, i downloaded more episodes and had an urge to watch them. its a pretty good show even without my biased opinions. and their references to things are pleasantly sprnkled throughout the series. raphael reminded me of many old thoughts when he said, "...like a trenchcoat on a turtle."

following up with tnt and finishing ground zero. i remember watching that live many years ago. those were good times.

nap.

there are a lot of things id been putting off since ive moved in. today i finally decided to rearrange the hallway and such. having the company of rise against, less than jake, and reel big fish helped to pass the time. it was also a note to how much time i put into it...

ending the night with a headphone test. the plan was to use them to listen to kylie minogue's abbey road sessions album, however i couldnt find it. luckily the mp3's id ripped were a pretty solid quality. from there it was various songs on 3 different pieces of hardware. its nice having the time to do stuff like that, but also kind of a bother.

april 12th, 2014: basically...we shouldnt play anywhere.

driving around in the morning. it seems that the car is low on the gearbox oil again. this car has just been all bad. as expected it decided to drop out at the gate. great.

commissary. dropping off clothes at work. post office. home. gym. dining facility. nap.

plans were made for another night of music things. planning was as far as this went. jed didnt show and it was just me and stokes. running through the typical songs.

i moved on to the computer to look up car stuff. stokes looked up various places to play. im not sure where his spur of interest in playing came from, but its going full throttle. giving him my insights on where to play and hearing where he wants to play, theres not much in the way of middle ground. its looking like theres nowhere thats going to be good for everybody.

home. starting ground zero. i get distracted with pillman and go on to look up some info about him. kinda wish id caught him in his prime. seeing old footage of him makes me think that a hart foundation video would be nice. itd be a sad end to that story though.

april 11th, 2014: the last straw

waking up to a flat tire. that leads to a little rearranging of my morning.

going to work and waiting for a security interviewer. 8:30 came and went with no sign of her. oh well.

dombrowski shows up talking about how someone complained about how not a lot of people go to friday mornings fitness festivities. he goes on to question people as they come in.

i mention to sill that its been noticed and figure he'll set the tone for how important it is. or isnt. it isnt.

to angels with cesar. while we were walking out we saw a dog sitting in the front seat of a car. it was one of the better things ive seen in a whlie. it totally looked like he was ready to drive that car. from there it was off to motorspares so i could get a new inner tube.

repairing my tire so i could head off to el dungeon.

taking a straw from the bin during dinner, i thought to myself "guess thats the last straw." heh. id made some plans to play that night with jed and stokes. it seems that a reunion tour may happen.

to the galaxy club.

listening to man man and walking home.

ending the night with an episode of community

april 10th, 2014: important tech sergeant things?

riding to work because the weather has turned around.

i went to lunch with cesar to a new restaurant. well, new to me. we mostly talked about tech stuff. gadgets, vpns, dns sevices. it was a good time and its unfortuante that i cant do that more often.

back at work sill makes a comment about the state of kennys church. we have people, instruments, songs, time...but no band. this band has a pretty good story.

lehosky talking about his adventures at the frontest desk of the bx for medical things.

i make a comment at some point about having to do important tech sergeant things. sill breaks down the perspectives of the three of us involved in the conversation. its funny and accurate.

at home and catching missed episodes of community and modern family. that particular community was a gi joe spoof. ive never liked gi joe.

talking to tony about gi joe. and going, or stopping, and dieing.

not long before going to sleep i get an email about my hotel reservation. im good. im going to comic con and have a place to stay. it takes the latter to make the former.

bed

april 9th, 2014: who eats mike n ikes? poor people.

i woke up to news of the ultimate warrior passing away. as i typed in ultimate warrior into my tablet, the next suggested word was promo. i can see that. anyways, the timing and his last interviews made it seem so crazy. even to the point that some thought it may have been a suicide.

at work a few of the guys are talking about missing american night at some food place. armstrong says something about how he eats that and all is well, and when he wakes up the next morning he's slightly depressed.

me: slightly! thats better!

its funny, but also not. but we're both on the same page so its ok i guess.

talking to brandon about things. he makes a comment about bull semen and protein. in response to a hypothetical question of what i eat to stay in shape, i say, "bull semen and hot tamales."

listening to drugs. romero comes around to talk up the new chiodos album. part of me thinks hes trying to befriend me or get on my good side. its odd. talking to brandon about drugs/chiodos. sending an email of craig in a jedidiah shirt spills into exchanging windows tips.

it was gym night. i hit some pretty solid front tucks, but injured my leg in the process. i went back to my original plan of working back tucks since i was still good for those.

back at home i caught an interesting promo from the late 80s on the wwe network. that seems like a more fun time to be in wrestling. now it seems like its more of a spectacle or something.
