finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

march 19, 2014: dont you dare go in there!

on my way to work i see a guy riding a scooter. that was unexpected. and it wasnt even like it was automated. he had to kick, push his way around. interesting.

todays workout was marred by last nights knee injury. i pulled off a few things here and there, but did a lot of walking trying to work it out. it's wednesday so i gotta get that dealt with.

tupac had been coming up a lot lately. today brandon fills me in on a quote from some russian leader that the only thing hes interested in with america is tupac.

during lunch i see my joker and new shoes have arrived. i mustve been pretty excited, for me, about that. i walked into the bathroom and noticed it had been rearranged. and then i saw a woman. about that time i realized i wasnt in the mens room and walked out quickly. funny enough as they were leaving their child walked into the mens room and she yelled at them. who knows what she wouldve done to me...

back to work. theres a fancy skeletor bust in my ee magazine.

home. nap.

gym. back tucks are getting better and i pulled off a couple flash kicks as well. cartwheel fronts just arent happening though. thats unfortunate because that was my favorite move that i had. but my fronts are kinda bad all together right now. hm.

back home and arranging my shelf. that took around 2 hours, but it looks pretty nice now

march 18, 2014: tacticl

a solid gym session with taking back sunday. the new album was out so i figured id revisit some of their past work. i had to hold back a bit though so id have some sugar in the gastank for gymnastics.

i had lunch with brittenny today and that was pretty all right. we dont deal with each other very much, but seem to get along pretty well when we do.

sticking around with jed at the end of the day while he does work stuff. i helped him bring in the antennae and it crashes hard right into my knee.

*CRASH* "dammit!," i say in more disappointment than pain.

getting home to watch missed episodes of chozen and read comics.

at some point i see the google now update for my amazon purchase. in place of 'happiness is'  they have some zking of hearts nonsense.

listening to the new foster the people album leaves me with a bit of underwhelmed indifference.

march 17, 2014: approval ratings

skipping morning pt to clean up and because its monday...

talking to brandon about ultimate frisbee. as it turns out he went and it was not at all what we expected. it was ultimate(ly serious) frisbee and he was not ready for their horizontal stacks and warm up drills. i wouldve liked to have been there to see it, but glad i didnt. my bike ride beats that any day.

buying tickets for alkaline trio/bayside, hit the deck, and the slam dunk ska punk tour. things are expensive but since ive scaled back on shows its not so bad i guess. and with the exception of hit the deck, these should be solid shows.

gym with free energy

at some point during work i make a joke about someone's approval rating. then go on to say that we should poll the office and post everybodys rating on the board.

that night i get my email about my badge. now im going to comic-con...officially.

walking dead. bass stuff

sleep

march 16, 2014: a nice day to ride again

getting to the store to beat the rush. as usual, there was no rush. however, there was still quite the line since only one register was open. luckily ive got a lot of patience and nothing to do.

cereal. bobs burgers. cleaning. nap.

it was an unusually nice day so i decided to go for a bike ride. i plotted out a decent trek, but took a wrong turn along the way. things didnt go badly; i just ended up coming back via the store road and not the other road. accidental success i guess.

to the gym. to the borderlands with tony. its been a while since we played together. not since launch really.

getting a pizza together to eat during a movie. watching the dark knight returns deluxe. before the movie was a trailer for pacific rim. that was my first time actually seeing what that was. i was right to avoid it. this batman movie is a combination of what was previously a part 1 and  part 2. sewing them together makes sense, but it sure is a long watch.

looking at tabs and chords for blink 182's rock show and all time low's umbrella.

march 15th 2014: round 2...

today is the last attempt at comic-con for the year. its a bit of stress in a way. it also means i wont be doing much outside the house today either.

looking up dns services. that's redundant to say, but it actually makes sense. listening to talk is jericho with edge.

laundry. cleaning. watching the amazing spiderman.

i get a message from the guy that runs the sdcc google+ group saying that he may have found a way to get me into a purchase group. in the past id thought that id pay someones entry if it got me in. so when he asked for me to send him some money up front, while slightly skeptical because it is an internet thing, i sent it pretty much immediately.

time rolled around and 29 minutes in he messages me to say the group was a success. im going to comic-con. saying that now i feel like when jr would exclaim about someones wrestlemania guarantee after a royal rumble.

he refunds me most of my money. paypal fees. conversion fees. whatever. i send money over to the actual buyer.

i waited around online just to see if id be able to get in. nope. good thing i had a group. i see now just how lucky i was last year.

nap.

watching how to train your dragon. looking up bass things/music theory.

fixing stiff shoulder'd ninja turtles with a hot water trick i found online. that took up around an hour of my time.

previewing the new hospitality album and a live flecktones album before purchasing.

finishing the night with iron and wine.
