finding something to do

i dont have a lot going on. my time is mostly spent finding something to do...

february 22nd 2014: dropping things...in anger.

up early. again. its unfortunate... i was hoping to be sleep for a while. mostly just because i knew i didnt have anything to do.

reading the last of the x-force vendetta storyline. listening to talk is jericho. looking up random things from the on-going conversation. wrestling sure isnt easy to come by with the usual suspects. looks like ill have to buy the ecw bared wire city.

afi and showering. atm. gym. dining facility. a wild stokes appears. post office. walking really drug this out, but it was nice and i didnt have a hurry so it was ok i guess.

my power rangers and icp figures were in so that was cool. the sizes werent at all what i expected. my cake from the grandmother had made it too. nice. and parking tickets. not as nice.

resuming the katy perry album id started before leaving...

unpacking the icp stuff took forever and violent j's arm fell off. it isnt going back on either. i shouldve expected that.

the podast from earlier made me look into some things. king of the ring 96 is going on my watch list. reminiscing about the benoit thing. watcihing the steamboat/piper/snuka vs jericho match that was talked about in the podcast. wow. that was really good considering steamboats age. even outside of that it was still good.

i took a nap and had a pretty crazy dream about saving a stolen rabbit.

contacting customer support about the violent j issue and talking to tony about buying stuff. not sure what ill do after this shelf is full. i guess just have more money.

then i get a call from stokes saying he has room for me to go to pool night if i still want to. it was either that or just spend more time sitting around at home so i went with it. im not great at pool and dont get too into it when i do play, but its something to do.

there are random english chicks coming in and out for a party. holy, whaaat? they are not great looking. i ask coine if he's seen despicable me. after heckling them for a while one comes by to 'confront' us on it.

coine: shes back

her: *walks over* whats that? shes back?

us: *confusion*

her: someone said, "she's back." your friend over there?

stokes: *in the distance, oblivious to the happenings* ....its your shot

overall it was a fun night.

back at home i managed to get the violent j arm thing worked out.

hot chocolate and bed.

february 21st 2014: what is this? labyrinth?

dropping off the car for things to be done. i was prepared to drop it off for a few days, but wasnt quite expecting it to take so long. the guy gives me an early estimate of wednesday. with a strong maybe to go along with that. oh well.

riding back with roberts wasnt bad. if conversation is kept to things of equal interest things seem to go along pretty well. for us, that seems to be comics and movies. he brought up plans to see the lego movie later. not a bad idea, but cant commit to that just yet...

passing work time with 'writings' and inventorying. an intense, and crowded, popeyes experience. taking a trip with austin to pick up something from his house. ive always thought we were kind of alike in some ways and seeing a few things about his house remind me of that.

eventually back to work. hanging around making conversation and fiddling around on a flying v. such a horrible design...and it felt so cheap. playing bass to mxpx and the summer set.

talking to derrick on the way home about what to do with the weekend. the movie for the night was changed from lego whatever in bury to robocop at the local theater. perhaps thatll be something to do. not as good as plan a though.

borderlands with madonna and queen in the background. id turned in a quest that was incomplete and finished one from the core storyline. i was hoping that wouldnt make too much of a gap between ol' james graves and i; it didnt. we both hit 71 within a reasonable stretch. a mess of comments leads to the band name, "the only the darkness."

that came to a close and i rush off to the movie theater. for some reason, they stopped selling tickets. maybe it was sold out. maye its just some policy. i dont know and didnt ask. i just accepted it and went home. im glad i didnt go too out of my way to get there. on a bike im there in just a couple minutes. though i did have to get dressed...

back home. catching up on tnt. its coming into its own thing very well, but that thing is fairly bland. i prefer the upbeat, party news. thats what i call it. because everybodys hanging out and talking about it, having a good time. now its just one dude at a desk spouting facts. i still watch, but its not great. just not bad enough to stop.

looking at wrestling stuff... the wwe network kicks off soon and im looking forward to that

february 20th 2014: slow and steady won the race

my day started with an interesting dream. a combination of so many things. there was an odd sexual encounter with shaundra. i bought shoes from a vending machine because i knew they were air maxs. they ended up being a variation that i had forgot existed (even in my dreams its funny the things i say to myself). there was a fight between grier and someone. at some point i'd met a girl who seemed into me. i later found out she was a lesbian and her partner and her dressed in matching clothes. and then there was some weird method of putting together machines from odd parts. and somehow this was related to eating what seemed to be a mayonaise sandwich.

moving on..

talking with brandon about music stuff. dropping the knowledge on chiodos and various things. soaking up a little myself. i dropped a little fun fact that escapes me now.

in class we went from first to last. (*light bulb* that's it. thats what my fun fact was. it was about skrillex's move from fftl to "that.") wait, no...from first to last is totally wrong. we started off way behind and ended up finishing first. it means nothing though.

off to the gym. my off-day is generally short, but how short? i put on the gold motel summer house album to see which would finish first. the workout or the album? a race to the death. in a sense. i won with 3 songs to spare. i spent that time cooling down on the treadmill and discovered other views. looking at a mountain...

my car is just awful. so full of problems. so i make mental plans to deal with that friday morning.

pasta with austin. forgetting id made a pizza last night and ate pretty much none of it.

getting home and looking up the repair place. interrupted by a call from mom. talking about child spacing, decks over water, and open office.

i finally got an email reply from paper and plastick with a download link for a farewell continental ep. still with the 160 bit rate. garbage.

revisiting music while doing mostly nothing. illuminaudio by chiodos. dock of the bay by otis redding. hard band for dead by the toasters. vows by kimbra.

buying the new(est) scribblenauts for wii u so i can get donkey kong sooner. i gotta stop doing that. but i will say that things seem to take forever to get to them

uploading music to amazon. exchanging emails with joana. funny that i had just been thinking about her. part of me wishes i could forget about her, but its kind of for the best that i dont.

watching the daily tech news show. going to bed.

february 19th 2014: call of duty...in space!

waking up and playing the soothing sounds unwritten law.

off to the gym. needtobreathe.

back home have breakfast. preparing for a housing inspection thing for a bit before picking up jed. back to the prep work.

while getting things together i ran across so many cd's. albums i forgot about. albums i forgot i had. and to think days ago id told myself id be skipping hellogoodbye's most recent album. little late for that. 2 months late actually.

things finished up a little early so i did a bit of call of duty...in space. this doesnt make me look forward to whats going to happen over the next gameplay hours.

i read a few days ago that theyll be moving to a 3 studio rotation. if this does in fact turn out to be a lackluster game, hopefully that will be the fix they need.

noticing that im way behind on my energy bill. i should really do a better job of keeping up with stuff.

back to work/class around 12. an hour early as it turns out...

in class i finally get told i wont be certified since i missed so much class. dang?

back in the office later jed is venting about things and making bad ideas.

sill: thats not gonna work

jed: ...so...

laughs *moments later*

sill: ...and so everybodys in the same boat

me (to others): like slavery

laughs again.

making a pizza before borderlands. we started the tiny tina dlc, but didnt really 'start' it. somehow we were a quest in already. and i didnt even get credit for the one we started from.

i took a nap after that so id be somewhat awake to go to the gee. well, that nap went longer than expected. waking up and getting ready for bed. yup.

february 18th 2014: youre gonna want to leave

working out. listening to grouplove.

class. work.

over lunch i was going to take the lease i had been mailed to be reviewed by the housing office. when i opened the lease it wasnt a lease at all. it was a letter asking me to come by tomorow to pick it up.

there was supposed to be a basketball game at 5:30, but it got moved to 6:30. that wasn't going to be doable because i had borderlands to do. taking out the badassasaurus was a bit smoother this time. a few rockets going a long way. slowly of course. tony had attempted to play with us, but that wasnt going to be in the best interest of anybody.

reacquainting myself with some music. forget and not slow down by relient k. boys and diamonds by rainbow arabia. after the party by the push stars.

talking to tony about borderlands and leveling. looks like he'll be moving to day time working again. i am unaffected by this. good for him though. i guess?

watching chozen and the daily tech news show. lamar wilson was on today. i like that guy.

the latest humble bundle has some good things in it. picking it up for 4.09 before the average goes up.

somewhere in the evening id received an email from the realtor office and they would be coming by tomorow. kinda goes against the letter id received...this is easier for me though.

finishing the night with strange mercy by st. vincent.
