the first part of the day was catching up with anthony over breakfast at dennys. it was good covnersation as always and followed by sitting in a car listening to music. it has been so long since i was able to really talk music with anybody.
off to bk's for a haircut, my storage unit for a monitor, food at that bbq place, target, then guitar center. all being things that i miss. and concluding the night with a trip to virginia beach for hanging out at 1435. and china wok.
all in all a pretty good night.
i didnt get to make it to chris' house, but i did get to see the original fry man so thats cool.
today's the drive to virginia. it's been a while since i took a long trip and im kinda feeling it. either that or i shouldve adjusted the seat a bit. who knows?
i stopped at my usual half-way point, but they gave me some strange directions to get there so i almost thought it wasnt right. panera. emailing adidas about my yeezys. they responded in minutes. 3 to be exact.
the weather is crazy up there. its a cool 37 that feels more like 3 to 7. at least in the sams parking lot. meeting chris at the cove and heading over to the boathouse for dinner.
off to anthonys to meet up with those guys. it was a good night of laughing and watching the office. that simple life i made failed attempts at living.
its time to do some inbox cleaning. part of that means replying to those wgu emails. its likely a busy time for them. its a new year and people probably want to start it with education or whatever. and im adding my name to that list.
olivia wants to do some christmas shopping today. it should be easy enough. and it kinda was, but finding dads shoes wasnt so easy. we went in a good handful of shops before finding them in a decent size. since when are xr1's "rare?"
getting the new ring of honor thing so i can watch it in the morning.
'computer' is down partially because of the motherboard battery issue. i thought itd be easy to get to, but i had to do a little more work to get to it and verify the type. cr2032. those should be common so ill have mom pick one up. or not. i guess theyre common, but popular and sold out? itll be a tomorow thing.
its a strange thing to have your days be completely open.
setting up spotify for mom since im not going the sonos route for christmas. instead i ordered a 4k fire stick thing. between those two that should be a pretty good combo.
running around with mom and having dinner at carolines lowcountry kitchen. it was pretty all right. while thats going on i start working on getting richie to do a picture for my mom. looks like it shouldnt be a problem.
morning came soon. likely because i also went to sleep in the morning.
on the shuttle:
guy: [walks onto shuttle] so they got you driving around the parking lot?
driver: yep.
how did he see that going? cant help but be curious
all the flight stuff went smoothly. the layover took forever, but thats to be expected.
now to figure out how ill get through the next days.
