todays catch up will be big bang theory. while i deal with getting the files i should probably deal with clearing up space and topping off other shows too. to make things a little more tolerable i let some no use for a name go in the background. it was fine until they threw a bunch of unwanted covers at me.
following that up with brooklyn nine nine, broad city, and modern family. somewhere in there i tried to fix my ps4 controller. i failed. i only got as far as taking out the screws. but i did enough to be able to start call of duty.
tacos.
trying to get to sleep just wasnt an option. i turned on that kevin owens 365 thing, but it just kept me awake. those things really make me question my life. i really shouldve done more with it. but i guess thats probably what most people say.
im still on my quest to watch a bunch of stuff. i dont know how people do this, but im making it happen.
i finished off eastbou -- excuse me, vice principals. and then on to the walking dead. i was dreading the time, but i knew it would come. and here it is. it wasnt too bad though. there was some new chick that apparently lost most of what she knew of english. funny thing about those two shows is that while theyre extremely different, the both ended with tiger attacks. and each was believable for its universe.
and that was my day. that and only that.
so todays a "big day." recognizing people for doing amazing things and all that. its nonsense. it always is. i walked in practically right on time and kicked off the day with some...encouraging words.
and now that the festivities are over its back to the usual stuff.
chaves and dlc got into a little "discussion" about smash brothers. or smash as the kids call it. dlc is practically a pro and chaves doesnt even know the terminology or of shields. a battle will determine things next week.
finally getting that sonic game returned to amazon. i went back and forth on keeping it, but in the end it just wasnt a good idea. the sensibility, you know...it just wasnt there. thats a thing i should start using more in my decision making.
those guys from yesterday came by to finish their pick-up. the problems of yesterday continued into today and again there was a central point of failure or whatever. eventually things are worked out, but it took way longer than it shouldve.
and now its group lunch day so off to chilis. its good and all. pretty sure ill never eat with chaves or his child again though.
i broke out the solar reds today and got a bit of attention for those. it wasnt until i was at the gym that i saw what people were talking about. those things are quite bright.
alexa warned me of a weather alert for freezing or whatever. i didnt pay it any attention. but it happened and boy did it ever. i woke up to some craziness. unfortunately i told sexy worden id be around to give her some dongles so i kinda had to rush off on time. ish.
sally c is not ready for the weather. after further investigation it seems that the cold is only inside. thats an unexpected turn of events.
zac and i headed up what was our worst pick-up to date so that was entertaining.
gym time. i went for the classic off-day workout. kind of a bad choice because it doesnt take nearly as much time as i wanted to kill. and going to break out the guitar wasnt an option either.
music stuff. it wasnt too bad. the improvs were good. i completely drew a blank on dammit though. that was embarrassing in a way.
